Hi, my name’s Charles.

I’m a copywriter and creative director with a deep crush on brand strategy. I make all sorts of advertising, interactive and digital, collateral, social media, direct response, promotion, events, experiences and other things that spark curiosity and get people's attention. I started my career long enough ago that it could buy you a drink, working for a number of advertising and design agencies. Some of those agencies have since ceased to exist. This is purely coincidental. These days, I team up with nice, smart, fun people to make stuff that changes the way people look at and think about brands.

In 2007, I founded ARTCRANK®, a pop-up art show and online shop dedicated to bicycle-inspired posters. After a few ecstatic and surreal years of throwing bike art parties in cities across the U.S. as well as London and Paris, I decided to stop living out of a suitcase and return to the relatively sane world of creative and strategic consulting.

What’s most rewarding to me now is being able to draw on and share a wealth of knowledge and experience in a broad range of industries, media and challenges. Very little surprises me, and nothing scares me except boredom. Let’s get to work.
